Vapor quality is largely dependent on the moisture content of your material/flower. How tightly the material is packed in the oven, how it's ground and how you draw from the mouthpiece affect your experience.
Below are some detailed tips, to get the most out of your PAX:
- Material: The drier the material the less vapor can be produced. Fresh material is best!
- Preparation: Prepare material to a medium consistency (not a fine grind).
- Loading: Tamp down material very tightly in the oven, and fill the oven completely full.
- Draw: "Sip it, don’t rip it!" A gentle 3-5 second draw will suffice.Drawing harder for longer, won't create more vapor but will instead dilute vapor with more air.
- PAX Mini 2: Change heat modes based on your preferences. Throughout the course of an oven load/session increase heat modes to get the most out of your material.
- Use the Half Pack oven lid when loading less material into the oven.
Bonus tips:
- After a session, when the device has cooled down, stir the material and pack it down again to get the most out of your flower.
- Wait a few moments before repeated draws so the oven can generate vapor.
- Switch to the raised mouthpiece for more airflow.
