There are a number of factors that impact vapor amount and quality, such as: moisture content of the material, amount of material, how it's prepared, how the oven is loaded, temperature/heat setting and how you draw from the mouthpiece.
Reference the PAX Flow Quick Start Guide for an overview on preparing your session. Feel free to try these pro tips as well:
- Material: PAX extracts moisture from your material, in the form of vapor. Previously used/dry material won't produce as much vapor as fresh material.
- Loading: Adjust how much you load into the oven. Try packing the material down tighter or looser depending on your desired experience.
- Lightly packed and/or partially filled oven may produce lighter, less visible vapor
- Tightly packed and/or a full oven may produce denser, more visible vapor
- Temperature: use different heat modes throughout the course of one oven load. As the material gets used up, increase the temperature. With a freshly loaded oven/material try a lower temperature.
- Draw: a consistent soft/steady draw from the mouthpiece should allow for more visible vapor. Give PAX Flow a few moments to generate vapor between draws. Pulling faster and more aggressively often results in less visible/dense vapor while increasing the temperature of the vapor.
Try different techniques to see what works best for you and the material of your choosing.
